Lighthouse is a specialized agency dedicated to providing top-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children with autism. Our mission is to empower these children and their families by implementing evidence-based interventions that promote skill development, independence, and improved communication. We value compassion, dedication, and professional growth, placing a strong focus on fostering a supportive environment where our team members can grow and thrive.
Lighthouse is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a specific part-time opening in the Weaverville area, just north of Asheville. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a 10-year-old boy with autism in his home, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
This is a new case, and you would be the primary technician working with this client --- an opportunity to build a strong, consistent relationship with one learner and his family from the start of services.
This position is up to 15 hours per week, scheduled within the family's available windows:
Your specific days will be set with the family and your supervising BCBA, and will then stay consistent week to week. This is a defined, recurring schedule --- not an on-call or variable role.
All sessions take place in the client's home in Weaverville (Buncombe County), a short drive north of Asheville. Mileage is reimbursed.
We are only able to consider applicants who are consistently available on weekday late afternoons and/or Sunday early afternoons. If your availability is mornings or weekday evenings only, this particular role will not be a fit --- but we encourage you to apply to our other openings.
If you're seeking a position that is fulfilling, impactful, and offers room for growth, this is for you! Join our warm and collaborative team of experienced therapists and make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families.
