At 787 Coffee, a Barista creates meaningful human connections while delivering exceptional coffee, service, and sales. Success in this role is guided by our CASS pillars:
COFFEE

• Prepare every drink according to 787 recipes and quality standards.
• Learn espresso dial-in, milk steaming, latte art, and our signature drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee bar.
• Share the story behind our Puerto Rican coffee with confidence.

ADAPTABILITY

• Remain positive and effective during busy periods.
• Learn new recipes, systems, and procedures quickly.
• Support different responsibilities based on the shop’s needs.
• Receive coaching openly and apply feedback immediately.

SALES

• Recommend drinks, pastries, coffee bags, and merchandise.
• Use thoughtful upselling to improve each guest’s experience.
• Understand daily sales goals and actively contribute to achieving them.
• Build guest loyalty through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.

SOCIAL

• Welcome every guest with energy, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
• Create meaningful conversations and memorable experiences.

Barista experience is welcomed but not required. We can teach coffee skills—we are looking for humans with the right attitude, energy, and commitment to creating an unforgettable 787 Coffee experience.
