Position Summary Orbital Kitchens is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pasta Cook to prepare made-to-order pasta dishes and support menu items across our restaurant brands. KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating on needed pastries and bread, • Carrying out operations and productions that takes place in the kitchen, • Baking recipes and preparing all desserts, • General Oven Duties (Checking dough conditioner), • Preparing all needed materials and ingredients, • Responsible for scaling and shaping of all breads, loaves, and pastries, • Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen, • General knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production, • Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for the daily baking, • Ensuring work place is safe and hygienic for all employees and guests, • Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner, • Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low, • Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste, • Perform other related duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE • Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program, • Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure, • Ability to work weekends and holidays., • Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA), • Confectionery/Foods major recommended, • Food Handler's Certificate, preferred, • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment, • Ability to multi-task, • Multiple priority management abilities, • Feedback is a gift! Chef / Experienced Cook — French-Inspired Tea Room | Manhattan The Parisian Tea Room, an elegant French-inspired restaurant and afternoon tea experience in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in beautiful food, fresh high-quality ingredients, consistency, cleanliness and presentation. Our menu includes breakfast and brunch dishes, soups, salads, French-inspired sandwiches, afternoon tea, pastries and desserts. The ideal candidate has professional restaurant or café experience and understands that presentation is just as important as preparation. Experience with French or European cuisine, upscale cafés, pastry, brunch, or fine dining is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include preparing dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized kitchen, managing food preparation and inventory responsibly, minimizing waste, and working respectfully and professionally with our front-of-house team. We are especially interested in a culinary professional who can also bring ideas to the kitchen as we expand our menu with fresh, seasonal and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Requirements: Minimum 2–3 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience preferred. NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus.
