Clean & Comfy Laundry | Brooklyn, NY We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Laundromat Attendant to join our team! 💰 PAY $17/hour Part-time / Full-time opportunities available 🕐 STORE HOURS 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days a week Shifts may include: • Morning: 8 AM – 4 PM, • Afternoon: 4 PM – 8 PM Hours can be flexible give or take a few hours. 🧺 WHAT YOU'LL DO • Wash, dry, and fold customer laundry, • Fold laundry quickly and neatly, • Sort and organize clothing, • Keep the laundromat clean and organized, • Help customers with questions and requests, • Process wash & fold orders, • Label and organize customer orders, • Load and unload commercial laundry, • Monitor washers and dryers, • Perform quality checks before orders are returned, • Keep the shop looking clean and welcoming, • Follow our laundry procedures and instructions ⭐ WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: • Is reliable and consistently on time, • Has a strong work ethic, • Can work efficiently without constant supervision, • Is comfortable standing and moving for most of the shift, • Can lift laundry bags and baskets, • Pays close attention to details, • Is friendly and respectful with customers, • Can work at a fast pace, • Responds to messages and communicates clearly, • Is willing to learn our laundry system, • Takes responsibility when something goes wrong 🚨 IMPORTANT This is a hands-on, fast-paced job. • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards., • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up., • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways., • Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed, • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use., • Replenish chemical bottles., • Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager., • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager., • Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards., • Ensure overall guest satisfaction., • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred., • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects., • Ability to stand during entire shift., • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
