What You’ll Do • Provide comprehensive medical care to dogs and cats, • Perform wellness examinations, vaccinations, and preventive care, • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, • Perform routine surgical and dental procedures, as comfortable, • Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate them clearly to clients, • Build strong, trusting relationships with pets and their families, • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, • Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and the Kind Vet team, • Participate in continuing education and stay current with advances in veterinary medicine, • Provide compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining a positive client experience What We’re Looking For • Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM, VMD, or foreign equivalent), • New York State veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure, • If you have worked at clinics in multiple states, licensure must be in good standing or you must be eligible for licensure in each applicable state, • A passion for providing a superior veterinary experience for both patients and employees, • Strong clinical and communication skills, • Ability to multitask with a high degree of integrity and accountability, • A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork, • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary care, • Genuine love for animals and their families, • Commitment to practicing high-quality, ethical medicine Mentorship & Growth At Kind Vet, we believe great veterinarians never stop learning.
