Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for increasing hotel revenue by developing new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, promoting hotel rooms and services, and achieving sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
Find and develop new corporate, group, wedding, travel, and event clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel tours, and presentations.
Negotiate contracts, rates, packages, and group bookings.
Follow up on leads and convert them into confirmed business.
Work closely with the front office, reservations, food & beverage, and events teams.
Monitor competitors, market trends, and local business opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings.
Handle client concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
RequirementsPrevious hotel, hospitality, or sales experience.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Good knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales/CRM systems is preferred.
A degree or diploma in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
