We are looking for full time Structural Engineers for immediate employment at our Tarrytown, NY office. Candidates must be detail oriented, self-motivated designers looking to expand their knowledge base and experience with a large variety of projects. At MARTOS engineering we strive to mentor new engineers with a variety of projects and responsibilities.

- Historic Barn Conversions
- Existing Condition Evaluations
- Special Inspections
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and calculations
- Prepare construction plans, details, and structural notes
- Prepare structural reports
- Review shop drawings
- Perform site investigations and construction inspections
- Coordinate directly with team members, architects, developers and contractors
- Foster relationships with clients and develop new work opportunities
- Mentor junior staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis on Structures.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Engineering-In-Training Certification required
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of industry standards and structural codes
- Experience in designing with wood, steel, concrete, and reinforced masonry.
- Proficiency with structural analysis programs such as RAM structural systems and STADD
