    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Bilingual Early Intervention ISC and OSC Service Coordinator’s responsibilities may include: • Serve as the primary Service Coordinator for assigned infants, toddlers, and families., • Explain the Early Intervention Program, service coordination process, family rights, procedural safeguards, and available services to families., • Communicate with families in their preferred language when qualified to do so., • Develop trusting, respectful, and family-centered relationships with parents and caregivers., • Assist families with navigating the Early Intervention system., • Coordinate and facilitate communication among families, evaluators, Early Intervention providers, Early Intervention Officials/Designees, and other professionals involved with the child., • Assist families with scheduling and coordinating multidisciplinary evaluations and other required appointments., • Participate in and coordinate IFSP meetings as required., • Assist families in identifying priorities, concerns, resources, and desired outcomes for their child and family., • Support the development, implementation, review, and amendment of the child’s IFSP., • Assist families with identifying available Early Intervention providers for authorized services., • Coordinate the initiation of authorized Early Intervention services., • Monitor whether services are being delivered in accordance with the child’s IFSP., • Follow up with families and providers regarding missed, delayed, interrupted, or unavailable services., • Identify barriers affecting service delivery and communicate concerns to the appropriate Early Intervention personnel., • Maintain ongoing contact with assigned families in accordance with program requirements and individual family needs., • Assist families with accessing community programs, healthcare resources, social services, educational resources, and other supports when appropriate., • Advocate for family participation and informed decision-making throughout the Early Intervention process., • Support transition planning as children approach age three and prepare to transition from the Early Intervention Program., • Collaborate with families regarding potential transition to preschool special education or other appropriate community services., • Complete all required case notes, service coordination documentation, contact logs, IFSP-related documentation, and other records accurately and within required timeframes., • Maintain accurate and current information within required Early Intervention systems., • Maintain confidentiality of child and family information in accordance with applicable federal and New York State requirements and Angel Community Alliance policies., • Participate in required orientation, training, supervision, quality-assurance activities, and professional-development activities., • Follow all applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements, policies, procedures, and ethical standards., • Bilingual Service Coordinators may be responsible for:, • Communicating directly with families in both English and their qualified second language., • Explaining Early Intervention processes and requirements in a manner families can understand., • Supporting culturally and linguistically responsive communication., • Helping reduce language-related barriers to participation in Early Intervention services., • Communicating effectively with bilingual families while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality., • Utilizing approved interpretation and translation resources when circumstances require services beyond the Service Coordinator’s language competency or role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must meet applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements for Service Coordinators and Angel Community Alliance credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, human services, early childhood education, special education, sociology, counseling, family studies, behavioral science, or a related field., • Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families., • Experience with children with developmental delays or disabilities., • Knowledge of Early Intervention, developmental disabilities, special education, Medicaid-funded programs, or community-based services., • Experience with case management or service coordination., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, appointments, and documentation requirements., • Ability to communicate professionally with families, providers, government representatives, and other professionals., • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to supervision and agency requirements., • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Additional languages commonly spoken by families throughout New York City are also welcomed.     OVERVIEW As a Front Desk Associate, you are the first point of contact for people when they enter the building. Your role requires a flair for hospitality and customer service, providing the best possible experience for customers as you check them in, process credit card and cash payments, and assist with any questions they might have. You will need to handle questions and problem-solve effectively while making guests feel welcome, heard, and valued. YOUR MISSION To assist customers (whether residents, members, or guests) with checking in, booking classes and lessons, making payments, and any other membership or amenity related questions they have, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the URBN Playground reputation. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Deliver amazing customer service by having a hospitality-focused, customer-first mindset, • Set up / pack down equipment (e.g. cash registers / boxes, devices) at open / close times, • Check members in as they arrive to use the amenities or for classes / lessons, • Assist residents with the URBN Playground app to make their reservations and purchases, • Utilize URBN software to manage reservations and bookings, handle messaging through the app., • Ensure security of cash registers / cash boxes at all times during shift, • Count starting amount of money at the start of shift, • Balance cash at the end of the shift and complete cash drop form, • Process guest passes or current promo codes from periodic marketing campaigns, • Answer phone calls and e-mails and escalate queries as needed, • Supervise other staff on shift as needed (e.g. porters) to ensure amenities run smoothly, • Hold a set of keys and open and lock gates and doors as needed, • Know what events or lessons are going on and be able to answer questions about them, • Liaise with key people (e.g. trainers, event planners, Lifestyle Director, pool operator) to ensure smooth operations of all the above YOU’RE GOOD AT • Getting things done, • Keeping track of many things at once and paying attention to detail, • Remembering customers’ names and making them feel welcome, • Diffusing customer complaints and solving problems, • Working independently with minimal supervision, • Handling phone calls and e-mails in a professional and efficient manner, • Building relationships with customers and key vendors BROWNIE POINTS • Prior experience in a sales-related job, • Prior experience in a hospitality position, • Familiar with property management software
