Job Description This position will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, diagnostic and repair work on vehicles (buses, vans etc.) which adheres to First Student standards. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles more complex problems and can resolve independently. All work is performed with a commitment to safety. In the state of Washington, this position is considered a safety-sensitive position and is therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis. $36.07/hr based on CBA Major Responsibilities • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by performing limited repairs with minimal supervision on both basic and complex maintenance such as replacement of light bulbs, fuses, lenses, wiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries, check fluid levels, change fluids and filters and lubricate components., • Perform mechanical repairs under minimal supervision including the repair of brakes and brake inspections, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs., • Maintain records of all maintenance work completed on vehicles including parts and supplies used. Ensure that work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain parts usage records and order repair parts from designated suppliers., • Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under minimal supervision. Job Description The ideal Class A CDL driver has excellent driving and communication skills and is company-oriented yet customer-focused.
