We're hiring an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant for a well-established oral surgery group with 5 convenient Long Island locations: Westbury, Huntington, Franklin Square, Syosset, and Great Neck. What You'll Do: As part of a skilled surgical team, you'll assist oral surgeons with a variety of procedures including extractions, dental implant placements, and biopsies. You'll monitor patients under IV sedation and general anesthesia, prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to strict infection control protocols, and take digital radiographs, panoramic x-rays, and CBCT 3D scans. You'll also provide compassionate pre- and post-operative care, helping patients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.
