About the Company HLS Trading is a systematic macro fund with offices in Miami, FL and Greenwich, CT. We launched in 2026 and run a deliberately small team, so everyone works directly on the business. For a systematic manager, the trading platform is the business, and this role owns it. About the Role The Senior Developer owns the platform behind our trading and research. Core pieces are already in place, including a position management system that handles order generation, routing, and pre-trade risk controls, and colocated market data infrastructure in NY4, so the work is to extend, harden, and improve that platform rather than build it from scratch. Job Description Job Title: AI Engineer and Project Lead Reports to: Chief Technology Officer Supervises: N/A Position Summary: The AI Engineer and Project Lead is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing artificial intelligence solutions that support operational efficiency, automation, and data driven decision making across the organization. This role partners with engineering, and product teams to build scalable machine learning models, integrate AI tools, automate workflows, and ensure the successful delivery of production grade AI systems. The ideal candidate is innovative, detail oriented, and able to translate complex business needs into reliable technical solutions.
