Job Description Lighthouse is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team of professionals. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. As you build a relationship with children and their families, your work will directly contribute to their growth, development, and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Your responsibilities as a Behavior Technician at Lighthouse will include the following: • Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)., • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children, following individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs., • Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment., • Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their independence and well-being., • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes., • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary., • Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updates on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting., • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and data collection., • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in ABA therapy. Job Description Lighthouse is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a specific part-time opening in the Greensboro area. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a young child with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, joining an existing team already supporting this client. This is a defined, consistent schedule --- not an on-call or variable role. Schedule --- please read before applying This position covers a fixed 10 hours per week: • Wednesdays, 12:00 PM -- 5:00 PM, • Thursdays, 12:00 PM -- 5:00 PM All sessions take place in the client's home, in the Whitsett area of eastern Guilford County --- a short drive east of Greensboro. Mileage is reimbursed. We are only able to consider applicants who are consistently available on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. If your availability is evenings or weekends only, this particular role will not be a fit --- but we encourage you to apply to our other openings. Requirements • Current RBT certification in good standing through the BACB., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum preferred., • Reliable personal transportation is required., • Comfortable providing services in a family's home.
