Assistant Directors influence the growth and development of both children and teachers. They create an environment of collaboration and community, encouraging everyone to thrive. \n\nRole Responsibilities - MUST HAVE NY TEACHING CERTIFICATE.\n\n PEOPLE LEADERSHIP\n • Identifies, schedules and assist in interview in teacher candidates; Builds networks of external future talent\n, • Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning.\n, • Assists to manages team to ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards;\n, • Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the future\n, • Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action\n, • Builds and communicates weekly schedules\n, • Assist with daily management of classroom ratios\n, • Assist to manage new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations\n, • Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget. \nCUSTOMER FOCUS\n, • Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.\n, • Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress\n, • Executes “parent pleasers”\n, • Execution of our Show and Tell\n, • Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers\n, • Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations\n, • Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations\n, • Responsible for accident/incident reporting\n, • Medication management\n, • Conducts monthly emergency safety drills\n, • Manages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations\n \nQualifications \n\n • Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred. At least one year of center leadership/management experience required.\n, • Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.\n, • Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred.\n, • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.\n, • CPR and First Aide Certification highly preferred.\n, • Must meet state specific guidelines\n\n The Learning Experience At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow.
