Need to be able to work weekends! We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This role is crucial in providing a comfortable and pleasant experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators.
- Dispose of trash and waste in a timely and hygienic manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries politely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills.
