Anita's Stitch & Style is seeking a skilled Part-time/Seasonal Seamstress to join our dedicated team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for fashion and meticulous attention to detail to contribute to our bespoke creations and alterations.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Performing alterations, repairs, and custom garment construction.
- Operating both industrial and domestic sewing machines proficiently.
- Working with a diverse range of fabrics and materials.
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and precise measurements for all projects.
- Collaborating effectively with clients to bring their vision to life.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess:
- 5+ years experience as a Seamstress or tailor.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric properties.
- Excellent hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills.
- The ability to accurately interpret patterns and designs.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
