Role Overview The Attendance Coordinator is responsible for administering and maintaining accurate employee attendance and timekeeping records across ASC's manufacturing operations. This position works closely with supervisors, Human Resources, Accounting, and employees to ensure timecard accuracy, attendance compliance, and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills, discretion when handling sensitive employee information, and the ability to provide administrative support across multiple departments and locations. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with supervisors to accurately review, track, correct, and process employee timecards and attendance records., • Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, leave requests, and timekeeping exceptions while ensuring compliance with company policies., • Assist with payroll preparation by validating time and attendance data prior to processing., • Serve as a liaison between employees, supervisors, Human Resources, and Accounting regarding attendance and payroll-related inquiries., • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure data integrity within timekeeping and HR systems., • Provide administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, filing, and records management., • Process personnel forms and provide administrative support to Human Resources and Accounting departments., • Assist with uniform services, distribution, inventory tracking, and employee records., • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and attendance-related documentation., • Support data entry, reporting, recordkeeping, and general clerical duties., • Travel regularly between ASC locations within Virginia Beach to support operational and administrative needs., • Assist management with special projects and daily plant operations as needed., • Identify opportunities to improve attendance tracking processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. What We're Looking For • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of administrative, payroll, attendance tracking, Human Resources, or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment., • Experience working with timekeeping systems, payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or attendance management software preferred., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word., • Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential employee and company information., • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities., • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel between local company facilities., • Positive attitude, strong customer-service mindset, and ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
