Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities. Familiarity with patient observation techniques, patient monitoring tools, and developing or following detailed care plans. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques; experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to healthcare or caregiving are advantageous. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish; ability to effectively engage with diverse populations.
