The Expeditor plays a key role in keeping service running smoothly by ensuring dishes are complete, accurate, properly presented, and sent out in a timely manner. Responsibilities • Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen during service., • Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, portioning, and completeness before they leave the kitchen., • Ensure all components, garnishes, sauces, and sides are included., • Organize dishes by table and course and ensure they are sent out in the correct order., • Communicate clearly with chefs, runners, and managers regarding ticket timing, modifications, allergies, and special requests., • Monitor ticket times and communicate delays or issues promptly., • Assist with organizing, checking, and packing to-go orders for accuracy and completeness., • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo station throughout service., • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant standards.
