Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Inspection • Perform routine preventative maintenance on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment., • Inspect electrical wiring, motor starters, compressors, heat exchangers, and safety controls to ensure peak operating efficiency., • Monitor oil levels, oil pressure, fluid levels, and refrigerant charges; perform tube brushing and oil/filter changes as required. Diagnostics & Repair • Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults using electronic meters, pressure gauges, and diagnostic software., • Perform major component overhauls and repairs, including compressor rebuilds/replacements, valve replacements, and leak repairs., • Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage control circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and Building Automation System (BAS) interfaces. Compliance, Safety & Documentation • Recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants in strict compliance with EPA regulations and environmental standards., • Maintain clear, accurate service logs, work orders, and safety records for every site visit., • Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and PPE requirements in industrial environments.
