Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide. We’re building a network of experienced registered dietitians to deliver synchronous patient visits for individuals navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position. As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, paid time off, workers’ compensation, or unemployment benefits. Pomelo Care will provide services to support your independent practice, such as client matching, billing and administrative support. Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle change and enhance patients’ wellbeing Work closely with patients in a multi-week program format to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change in patients experiencing perimenopause Maintain timely and accurate documentation Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) with license to practice in Indiana Ability to commit for a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week A minimum of 3 years of experience providing providing evidence-based nutrition therapy for patients with: Conditions of metabolic syndrome Weight loss and body composition changes Osteopenia/osteoporosis Gut health concerns, including bloating, IBS, and elimination diets Plant-forward/plant-based diets and anti-inflammatory eating patterns Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits Once you apply, our team will guide you through the credentialing process, which includes: Meeting with someone from our recruitment & clinical teams for 2-30-minute video calls Providing proof/verification of licensure & personal liability insurance Enrolling with commercial health plans through Pomelo Completing a background screening By joining Pomelo, we will provide the support you need to focus on what you do best – caring for families. In this role, you will: • Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs, • Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders, • Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts (bucket trucks), and other tree care equipment effectively, • Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices in all tasks, • Ensure proper pruning cuts and techniques, preserving the health and structure of trees, • Assist in tree removals and utilize ropes, spikes, and other equipment as needed for safe takedowns, • Identify hazards and perform safety checks after, during, and after each job, • Perform aerial rescues if necessary, ensuring safety in high-risk situations, • Maintain strong communication with team members and clients, ensuring excellent service and safety at all times, • Take ownership of your role, contributing to a positive, safety-focused team culture What We’re Looking For What is Essential: • Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL is a plus), • Authorization to work legally in the U.S., • Passion for working outdoors and commitment to environmental stewardship Experience: • Proficient in proper pruning techniques for large shade trees and ornamentals, • Strong knowledge of tree and shrub species, including their characteristics, • Comfortable climbing without spurs, • Skilled in adhering to tree care safety standards, • Experienced with chainsaws, aerial lifts (bucket trucks), and other essential tree care equipment Technical Knowledge: • Expertise in proper pruning cuts, branch collars, and chainsaw operations (for trees up to 50 feet), • Familiarity with ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines, • Ability to perform aerial rescues and apply various climbing techniques, • Comfortable working with a diverse range of tree species, including Oaks, Maples, Hemlocks, Pines, and more Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently, • Ability to safely perform climbing and aerial work in varying conditions, • Experience with tree removal, including knowing when to use ropes or spikes for safe takedown · This job requires physical stamina to meet the demands of climbing, lifting, and performing tasks outdoors.
