This role is part-time position in Clifton, NJ; Morning and Night shifts available (6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) Refrigeration (Ammonia) System operators. Responsibilities: • Maintain the Ammonia refrigeration and other freon based cooling systems including, but not limited to operation, maintenance, and repairs., • Maintain and operate single, two stage, cascade ammonia systems and subsystems, • Monitor and identify abnormal operating pressures, temperatures, and conditions within the refrigeration system, adjust, repairs and/or schedule service as required, • Thoroughly understanding and able to handle refrigeration system components, including vacuum pumps, chillers, evaporators, condensers, compressors, controls, and valves etc., • Perform and delegate to daily, weekly, monthly, annually inspections, and preventative maintenance on the refrigeration equipment and other cooler machinery on and off-site as needed, • Perform other maintenance duties such as plumbing, replacing valves, installing fixtures, detecting, and repairing leaks as needed, • Handle hazardous materials as directed and follow guidance of OSHA and EPA, • Monitor and record all system readings to document operation of the equipment and the system and provide reports and troubleshooting, • Respond to emergency breakdowns of the refrigeration systems, • Procure quotations and bids for the order of work scopes, repairs, parts, and construction projects as needed, • Ensure continuous training and competency of refrigeration updates and standards, • Train personnel for routine check and system following the SOP, • Thoroughly understand and can act upon based on EAP and technical guidance during emergency and system malfunction situations, • Handle unscheduled and emergency shut down of equipment, • Ensure all refrigeration equipment is functioning in a safe and optimal manner, • Ensures continuous operation of all the facility utility systems and supports preventative maintenance programs., • Assists in the record-keeping and training requirements for all components of the Ammonia refrigeration system in compliance with State and federal guidelines., • Must perform duties as assigned by the facility Manager. & Chief Engineer Qualifications Must posses a Blue SealToxic To Operating license issued by the state of New Jersey • 5+ of Ammonia and freon based refrigeration experience, • 4+ years of active experience with cooling processes, ammonia refrigeration, and other freon based facilities within a produce and food processing and storage facility is a plus, • Experience with screw and reciprocating compressors, recirculation pumps, HVAC units, air compressors, and associated control systems, • Work experience in ammonia system pump-downs and repairs, • Knowledge of chemical testing for cooling towers and ammonia system preferred, • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, • Ability to understand refrigeration blueprints, P&ID, and cut sheets, • Hazmat Responder Certification preferred, • Trained and experienced in lock-out, tag-out, and safe work practices, • Must be able to respond to emergencies if needed 24/7 including after hours and weekends., • Best-practice and professional knowledge of industrial maintenance and standards, • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, • Must be detailed-oriented, cost-conscious, and deadline sensitive Physical requirements • Able to climb stairs and ladders and fall-protection trained, • Able to work at variable heights, • Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. in weight Environmental conditions • Roof height and outdoors; cold, wet, and cold storage temperatures Compensation Range • The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $37/hr - $43/hr, • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits, • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. You make sure the places in which people work, play, learn and live are safe, comfortable, productive and sustainable. You will contribute to the organization's bottom line through your responsibility for maintaining what are often an organization's largest and most valuable assets, such as property, buildings, equipment and other environments that house personnel, productivity, inventory and other elements of operation. Responsibilities: Safety and compliance • Uphold OSHA, EPA and site safety standards and industry codes at both sites, • Own fire and life safety: fire suppression, sprinkler and alarm testing, • Share accountability for OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) compliance for the Clifton ammonia system, • Enforce lock-out/tag-out and safe work practices; act as a HazMat responder when needed, • Own the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binder at both sites Maintenance and building systems • Build and run a preventative maintenance and life-cycle program for HVAC and other facility systems to cut unplanned downtime, • Lead and document daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections, • Manage racking inspections and upkeep, plus trash and cardboard compactors, • Advise on and track energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives Powered industrial trucks (PIT) • Own PIT daily safety checks, preventative maintenance, and operator training and certification at both sites Refrigeration co-management (Clifton) • Partner with the Chief Refrigeration Engineer on the ammonia freezer and glycol cooler systems, covering compliance, PM scheduling, budget and vendor coordination Security and team leadership • Manage the security function and the facility/maintenance team at both sites, including staffing, training and performance, • Train warehouse staff and supervisors on facility SOPs, PIT certification and emergency action procedures Emergency response • Respond quickly to alarms, system failures, shutdowns and emergencies at either site, including off-hours, • Maintain plans that reduce the impact of natural disasters and other disruptions Vendors and budget • Procure bids, negotiate and review service contracts, and manage providers across both sites, • Prepare and track facility budgets, expenses and maintenance costs; report regularly and drive cost-reduction initiatives Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or related qualification such as project management, business management or construction management, or a related field, • 5+ years of work experience in a warehouse management role, • Experience leading a security function and a facility/maintenance team, • Working knowledge of OSHA safety, HazMat protocols and environmental compliance, including familiarity with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP for ammonia facilities, • Experience running PIT programs: daily safety checks, preventative maintenance, and operator training and certification, • Facility services experience across security, fire, janitorial and equipment maintenance, • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills for general facility systems, • Experience managing facility budgets, contracts and vendors across multiple sites, • Ability to partner well with technical specialists on systems outside your direct scope, • Excellent organization, attention to detail, reporting and communication skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and work in cold/freezer environments, • Availability to respond to emergencies 24/7 when requiredNice to have, • Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and/or glycol cooler systems, • HazMat Responder certification, • OSHA or Food Safety certification, • Six Sigma (Green Belt) or project management certification Benefits • Comprehensive health insurance package, including medical, dental, and vision. Who we are looking forState Street Wealth Services - Wealth Custody and Clearing is seeking a skilled and proven Business Risk Advisor, Assistant Vice President, specializing in Fraud Risk, Strategy and Controls. The successful candidate will serve as the primary Wealth Custody and Clearing fraud risk subject matter expert and support leadership in the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of fraud risk across the business. The role is expected to be approximately 80% focused on fraud risk management and approximately 20% focused on broader Business Risk Advisor responsibilities. Fraud and risk management experience, especially within a G-SIFI, bank, broker-dealer, wealth management, custody, clearing, payments or other regulated financial services organization, will contribute to a candidate's success in this position. Candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of fraud typologies, risk and control frameworks, preventive and detective controls, and current industry practices for strengthening fraud risk management programs.Why this role is important to usEffective fraud risk management is critical to protecting client assets and information, supporting regulatory and policy requirements, and maintaining a controlled and client-focused operating model. As a member of the Business Risk Management (BRM) team, you will help lead the execution and continuous enhancement of the Wealth Custody and Clearing fraud risk management framework while also supporting broader business risk activities in furtherance of the firm's risk excellence goals.What you will be responsible for· Fraud risk framework and governance: Maintain and continuously enhance the Wealth Custody and Clearing fraud risk framework, governance routines, risk taxonomy, control inventory and strategic roadmap in alignment with enterprise policy and business objectives.· Fraud risk assessments: Lead or coordinate periodic and event-driven fraud risk assessments across products, services, client channels, processes, systems and third-party relationships; identify material fraud themes, emerging exposures and control gaps requiring management attention.· Fraud strategy and controls: Develop and maintain fraud prevention and detection strategies aligned with the Wealth Custody and Clearing business model, risk appetite, products and client population. Partner with control owners to design, implement, document and enhance sustainable preventive and detective controls.· Control scope: Define and assess fraud control requirements related to client onboarding, identity verification, authentication, account maintenance, beneficiary and ownership changes, money movement, transaction approvals, employee access, exception management and other high-risk activities.· Monitoring and analytics: Establish and monitor fraud key risk indicators, key performance indicators, thresholds, dashboards and management information. Analyze fraud events, alerts, losses, prevented losses, control exceptions and client friction to identify trends and control enhancement opportunities.· Rules and detection capabilities: Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Cybersecurity and service providers to enhance fraud rules, monitoring scenarios, decision logic, alert quality and reporting, and to assess whether controls appropriately cover new products, channels and emerging fraud patterns.· Emerging fraud risks: Monitor and assess threats including account takeover, identity theft, social engineering, impersonation scams, fraudulent money movement, insider activity, digital-channel threats, financial exploitation and other relevant internal and external fraud typologies.· Change and new business: Review new products, material business changes, process changes and technology initiatives to ensure fraud risks, dependencies and required controls are identified and addressed early in the change lifecycle.· Incidents and investigations coordination: Coordinate the Wealth Custody and Clearing response to potential or confirmed fraud incidents in accordance with established escalation and response protocols. Ensure timely engagement of Global Security, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Cybersecurity, third parties and other stakeholders, as appropriate.· Issues and remediation: Lead or facilitate root-cause and lessons-learned reviews; ensure control deficiencies are documented, assigned, escalated and remediated through the applicable issue management process; and monitor remediation progress through closure.· Third-party fraud oversight: Oversee fraud-related risks and controls arising from clearing, custody, technology, RIA, vendor and other third-party relationships. Define and assess fraud-related reporting, incident notification, control evidence, audit trail, service level and escalation requirements.· Management reporting and awareness: Produce concise, decision-useful reporting for senior management and governance committees on fraud exposure, incidents, losses, control performance, issues, remediation status and strategic priorities.
