Job DescriptionMaintenance Mechanic Pay Rate: $30.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM-10:00 PM Hours may vary based on business needs and may include weekends. Interview: Onsite Position Summary The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs, adjustments, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance., • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and facility-related equipment problems., • Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs, labor, and parts used., • Perform routine inspections and equipment maintenance to maximize uptime and productivity., • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and maintenance equipment., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area., • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements., • Support production operations and respond to equipment breakdowns as needed. Qualifications • Previous industrial maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing maintenance experience required., • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, specifications, and work instructions., • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment., • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision., • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing either English or Spanish. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift., • Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs., • Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying temperatures., • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear a respirator when required., • Ability to operate manlifts and production equipment as needed. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Steel-toe footwear is required; additional PPE will be provided. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
