What began as a Manhattan soup kitchen has grown into a citywide organization serving nearly 3,000 New Yorkers each year—including over 700 veterans, as well as young adults and families, many of whom identify as LGBTQ+. Jericho provides more than 600 units of supportive housing through seven permanent residences in the Bronx and Harlem, along with scattered-site apartments throughout New York City. Our housing-first model is paired with wraparound services delivered by skilled case managers, licensed mental health clinicians, and workforce development specialists. Together, these services support our four pillars of stability: housing, employment, wellness, and family. In 2024, Jericho facilitated over 570 housing placements, helped secure nearly 275 job placements, and delivered over 750 therapy sessions through our in-house Jericho Therapy Program. About the PositionThe Rapid Resolution Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting low-income veteran families who are experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Critical Time Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction techniques, the Rapid Resolution Coordinator will provide comprehensive case management services while maintaining a supervisory and managerial role over junior staff. The position requires a commitment to promoting housing stability, providing supportive services, and collaborating with community resources. NYCP is a poverty-fighting organization that reduces hunger and promotes dignity, health, and self-sufficiency by using a holistic approach. Last year, we assisted over 764,000 visitors, served over 11.7 million meals, and accessed $10.7 million in public benefits resources for our guests. Through an array of programs that we offer, we look to establish long-term stability for those we serve. NYCP is seeking a Nourish Intake Associate (English/Spanish) to join our growing Senior Nutrition Programs team. Nourish is a Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) that aims to increase health in individuals who are 60 years or older and have low incomes by providing nutritious food choices from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. New York Common Pantry is one of the three agencies statewide contracted to run this program, which allows seniors to receive food every month. Food packages include a variety of foods, such as milk, juice, farina, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, poultry or fish, and canned fruits and vegetables. Additional components of Nourish include guidance for preparing nutritious meals, dissemination of nutrition and health information by nutritionists, and referral to health care and social service agencies for other needed services. When at full capacity, Nourish will serve up to 80 + partner sites to expand food and nutrition services for low-income seniors living in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. The Nourish Intake Associate (English/Spanish) will report to the Nourish Intake Manager at 788 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10455. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM; 1-hour lunch. This is a Full-Time position, 35 hours a week, non-exempt. The Nourish Intake Associate (English/Spanish) is required to work on a Saturday three (3) times a year from 9 am to 1 pm. Responsibilities: Check in and re-certify senior participants at mobile sites. Entry data into web-based software Link2Feed. Training will be provided. Rotate with other Intake Associates to provide front desk coverage and assist at mobile sites and offices, as needed. About the role Mogul is seeking a sharp, product-minded developer to build and scale the first of its kind residential platform that's changing how people invest in real estate. Through an array of programs that we offer, we look to establish long-term stability for those we serve. NYCP is seeking a Nourish Driver/Commodities Associate to join our growing Nourish team. This position plays a critical role in supporting NYCP's mobile food distribution operations by ensuring food commodities, supplies, and equipment are transported safely and efficiently to community distribution sites throughout New York City. The Nourish Driver/Commodities Associate is responsible for operating agency vehicles, loading and unloading food and program materials, assisting with site setup and breakdown, maintaining inventory, and supporting food distributions. This position serves as an ambassador of NYCP and helps ensure guests receive services in a safe, organized, and dignified manner. The Nourish Driver/Commodities Associate will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager in the 1285 Oak Point Location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, and the time varies between 6 AM and 6 PM; 1-hour lunch. This is a Full-Time position, 35 hours a week, non-exempt. Employees may be required to work up to three (3) Saturdays per calendar year to support special distributions or organizational events. Responsibilities: Safely operate the agency-owned box truck to transport food commodities, program supplies, and equipment to designated distribution sites. Maintain the agency vehicle in safe operating condition by conducting routine inspections and promptly reporting any maintenance needs, safety concerns, or repair requirements to the Warehouse Operations Manager or Warehouse & Mobile Operations Supervisor. Collaborate with the Food Commodities Associate and Nourish Intake Associate/Nutrition Program Commodities Associate to set up and pack up the distribution area at mobile sites. Ensure all food commodities are properly labeled, dated, handled, and transported in compliance with New York City food safety and food handling regulations. Load and unload deliveries at the designated space located at 788 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10455, to ensure the office food storage room is adequately stocked with commodities. Verify that the distribution space is properly set up before the program starts operations, including working with partnership staff to ensure the room is set up for pantry distribution. Work closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager to develop and implement efficient delivery routes that support timely and effective distribution operations. Participate in the maintenance of inventory for all food and program-related supplies and ensure appropriate storage of delivered items. Support food distributions at mobile sites by assisting guests and helping maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming environment. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: A High School Diploma or the equivalent. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required. A valid license in the province or territory of intended employment and a clean driving record are required. Experience working in food distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, or nonprofit programs. Experience operating hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Availability to work on weekends. Commitment to helping the communities in need and NYCP’s work and mission. Certification in Food Safety by the NYCP Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
