Job Description Warehouse Worker - $18/Hour - Start ASAP The Warehouse Worker builds and stages customer orders using manual and electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role focuses on accurate order selection through a voice-directed picking system, safe handling of products and pallets, and maintaining precise inventory counts while performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Responsibilities • Build and assemble customer orders according to load tickets with a high level of accuracy., • Operate a manual and electric pallet jack safely to move, stage, and organize product throughout the warehouse., • Manually lift, move, restock, and repack products as needed, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds., • Stage completed pallets in designated areas for loading and shipment., • Keep track of inventory and maintain accurate product counts while picking, restocking, and palletizing., • Use a voice-directed picking system (vocollect headset) to receive and confirm picking instructions without paper or scanning., • Palletize, stack, and secure products in a stable and safe manner to prevent damage during handling and transport., • Perform general labor tasks such as packing, picking, and organizing product within a warehouse of approximately 500 SKUs., • Follow all safety procedures when using equipment and moving materials in the warehouse., • Work collaboratively with a warehouse team to complete all orders by the end of the shift. Skills & Qualifications • At least 6 months of experience working in a physical work environment., • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout a 10–12 hour shift., • Ability to stand and remain physically active for 10–12 hour shifts., • Ability to communicate clearly in English, including listening and speaking, to effectively use vocollect headsets., • Experience performing general labor tasks such as lifting boxes, stacking, packing, and order picking., • Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately while maintaining productivity and safety., • At least 6 months of pallet jack experience, including manual or electric pallet jacks., • At least 6 months of warehouse experience in order selection, order pulling, or order picking., • At least 6 months of experience using a vocollect or similar voice-directed picking system., • Experience with palletizing and stacking products safely and efficiently., • Experience with inventory tracking and maintaining accurate inventory records., • Exposure to warehouse forklifts and general warehouse operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
