The course will focus on the most fundamental topics in a high school Algebra course., • The Algebra 2 course develops mastery of linear equations, inequalities, graphs, polynomials and radical expressions, quadratic equations, functions, and exponential and logarithmic expressions. To the greatest possible extent, the focus is on solving word problems and reading carefully to build algebra skills. Students learn how to use the graphing calculator — desmos.com — appropriately as an effective problem-solving tool. In addition, students may do a number of hands-on labs that require them to collect data, make conjectures and draw conclusions. Mobile Response services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to help children and youth who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crises.
