MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must meet applicable New York State Early Intervention Program requirements for Service Coordinators and Angel Community Alliance credentialing requirements. Preferred qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, human services, early childhood education, special education, sociology, counseling, family studies, behavioral science, or a related field., • Experience working with infants, toddlers, children, or families., • Experience with children with developmental delays or disabilities., • Knowledge of Early Intervention, developmental disabilities, special education, Medicaid-funded programs, or community-based services., • Experience with case management or service coordination., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities., • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, appointments, and documentation requirements., • Ability to communicate professionally with families, providers, government representatives, and other professionals., • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to supervision and agency requirements., • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. Additional languages commonly spoken by families throughout New York City are also welcomed.
