Job description: RamGrows Fin. Corp. is expanding its professional tax team for the upcoming tax season. We provide tax, accounting, and financial services to diverse multilingual communities through our offices in Brooklyn, NY and Philadelphia, PA, and we are looking for experienced bilingual tax professionals who want to work in a modern, technology-driven environment. Candidates should be able to communicate professionally in English plus at least one additional language. We are particularly interested in professionals who speak Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Georgian, Uzbek, Tajik, or Urdu. A Different Kind of Tax Preparation Environment RamGrows has developed a highly automated, AI-driven tax preparation and client-management system designed to significantly reduce repetitive manual work, document handling, and traditional data-entry tasks. Our goal is to allow tax professionals to spend less time performing routine clerical work and more time doing the work that requires professional knowledge and judgment: reviewing information, analyzing tax situations, identifying issues and opportunities, communicating with clients, verifying accuracy, and making professional tax decisions. The result is a more intellectual, reviewer-style tax professional position, supported by automation and AI rather than a traditional data-entry-heavy tax preparation job. Selected candidates will receive training on the RamGrows system before beginning work. Responsibilities Tax Professionals may be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state individual income tax returns; working with W-2, 1099, Schedule C, rental, investment, and other income; preparing or assisting with business returns; reviewing AI- and system-generated tax information for accuracy and completeness; identifying missing or inconsistent information; conducting professional client interviews; explaining tax results to clients in English and their additional language; identifying potential deductions, credits, filing issues, and compliance concerns; responding to or assisting with IRS and state notices when appropriate; maintaining client confidentiality; and following RamGrows quality-control, documentation, security, and compliance procedures. As professionals gain experience with our system, opportunities may also include senior reviewer, supervisory, office-management, training, and advisory responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications Candidates should have at least two years of professional tax preparation experience and the ability to prepare and/or review individual tax returns with limited supervision. Candidates should speak English plus at least one additional language and demonstrate strong tax knowledge, attention to detail, client-service skills, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently during a high-volume tax season. Highly Preferred Candidates We strongly encourage applications from: Enrolled Agents (EA) Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Senior Tax Preparers Business Tax Professionals Tax Reviewers Professionals experienced in IRS representation Experienced Tax Office Managers and Team Leaders Training & Technology Before the tax season, RamGrows will provide training specifically on our automated and AI-driven workflow, software, internal procedures, client-management process, document handling, quality-control procedures, and tax preparation systems. The purpose of the training is not to teach basic tax preparation from the beginning. It is designed to help experienced tax professionals quickly become productive within the RamGrows technology platform and professional review process. Compensation Compensation generally starts at $20/hour and can increase to $50/hour, depending on experience, credentials, tax expertise, language skills, productivity, and level of responsibility. During peak tax season, earning opportunities can increase significantly, particularly for experienced preparers, reviewers, EAs, CPAs, managers, and professionals capable of handling complex returns or supervising other preparers. Partnership & Expansion Opportunities RamGrows is also interested in building relationships with highly experienced tax professionals, CPAs, EAs, and entrepreneurial tax professionals throughout the United States. For qualified professionals in other markets, we are open to discussing management, business-development, office expansion, and potential partnership opportunities in different U.S. cities.
