Job Description Experienced CNC Set-up / Programmer Location: Peekskill, NY Compensation: Up to $35.00 per hour + great benefits Job Type: Full-Time Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Experienced CNC Setup / Programmer to join at their facility . This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment and requires strong setup and programming capabilities. This position is for a working CNC operator/programmer, not a supervisory or management role. Key Responsibilities • Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to specifications., • Create CNC programs for Lathes, VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers), and Multi-Spindle Machines., • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality standards., • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime., • Work with production teams to implement process improvements., • Document setup procedures and machine performance. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus)., • Experience creating CNC programs for Lathes, VMCs, and Multi-Spindle machines is required., • Candidates will be asked to create a program during the interview process., • Previous CNC setup and operation experience required., • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings., • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills., • Able to lift up to 30 lbs., • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ITAR/DOD compliance requirements.
