Job DescriptionJob Title: Medical Device AssemblerJob Description This role focuses on the precise assembly of electronic and mechanical cardiovascular medical devices within a cleanroom environment. You will use hand tools to build small, intricate components such as plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies for heart pumping machines, while following detailed assembly drawings and documentation. Responsibilities • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of cardiovascular medical devices, including plastic valves, stents, disposables, and assemblies for heart pumping machines., • Use hand tools to complete small, detailed assembly tasks with a high level of accuracy and consistency., • Work on an assembly line or production environment to meet daily and weekly output targets., • Read and interpret assembly drawings, instructions, and other production documentation to ensure correct build processes., • Follow cleanroom protocols and procedures to maintain a controlled and contamination-free environment., • Complete and sign off on travelers and other production records to document work performed and ensure traceability., • Inspect assembled components for quality and functionality, and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel., • Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines related to medical device manufacturing., • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts in assembly and production processes.Essential Skills, • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly., • Hands-on experience working in a cleanroom environment., • Proficiency using hand tools for small, detailed assembly work., • Experience with mechanical assembly and assembly line or production work., • Ability to assemble medical devices and related components with precision., • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and written instructions., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a regulated environment., • Ability to complete and sign off on travelers and other production documentation., • Reliable work habits and ability to follow established procedures consistently.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in medical device assembly or other highly regulated manufacturing environments., • Familiarity with production workflows and assembly line processes., • Comfort working with small parts and intricate mechanical assemblies., • Willingness to work in a temp-to-hire arrangement with the potential for a permanent role., • Motivation to grow within a medical device production environment and take on increasing responsibility over time.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a cleanroom production environment focused on medical device assembly. You will work with hand tools and small mechanical components on an assembly line, following strict cleanliness and contamination-control procedures. Cleanroom protocols require specific attire and personal care standards, including restrictions on makeup and jewelry and appropriate covering of facial hair, to maintain product safety and quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
