Security Officer Responsibilities Security Officers may perform a combination of the following duties depending on site needs: 1. Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors, 2. Monitor building access points and maintain awareness of building activity, 3. Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building, 4. Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems, 5. Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally, 6. Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, 7. Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required, 8. Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys, 9.
